Visitors to our websites

When someone visits www.fusionsys.co.uk we use a self-hosted service, Plausible Analytics, to collect standard internet log information and details of visitor behaviour patterns. We do this to find out things such as the number of visitors to the various parts of the site. This information is only processed in a way which does not identify anyone. Plausible Analytics is a privacy-first web analytics tool. It is built to be compliant with the different privacy regulations, such as GDPR and CCPA. Plausible doesn’t use cookies and doesn’t collect any personal data whatsoever.

Use of cookies

Cookies are files with small amount of data, which may include an anonymous unique identifier. Cookies are sent to your browser from a web site and stored on your computer’s hard drive.

The Fusion Systems Ltd website doesn’t use cookies.

Security and performance

Fusion Systems Ltd processes the IP addresses of visitors to the website in order to improve security and performance of the site. The website is regularly scanned in line with PCI compliance, and for malware.

Logging

Like many site operators, we collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Site (“Log Data”). This Log Data may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Site that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the time spent on those pages and other statistics.

People who contact us via social media

We use a third party provider, Hootsuite to manage our social media interactions.

If you send us a private or direct message via social media the message will be stored by Hootsuite for three months. It will not be shared with any other organisations.

People who call our helpdesk

When you call the Fusion Systems Ltd helpdesk we collect Calling Line Identification (CLI) information. We use this information to help improve its efficiency and effectiveness.

People who email us

We use Transport Layer Security (TLS) to encrypt and protect email traffic in line with government regulations. If your email service does not support TLS, you should be aware that any emails we send or receive may not be protected in transit.

We will also monitor any emails sent to us, including file attachments, for viruses or malicious software. Please be aware that you have a responsibility to ensure that any email you send is within the bounds of the law.

Email we receive will often be converted into tickets. We use a helpdesk ticketing solution. This holds information such as your Name, Email Address and Phone Number.

How we will use your information

We will use your information to contact you in regards o to services requested.

People who use Fusion Systems Ltd services

Fusion Systems Ltd offers a wide veriaty of services. We will gather personal information gathered for use in relation to these services

We have to hold the details of the people who have requested the service in order to provide it. However, we only use these details to provide the service the person has requested and for other closely related purposes. For example, we may use information supplied in a troubleshooting session to generate a quote for a new service.

Your rights

Under the Data Protection Act 1998, you have rights as an individual which you can exercise in relation to the information we hold about you.
